Dylan Rhys is a Cypress, Texas native and a rising singer-songwriter in the Texas and Red Dirt country scene. He picked up the guitar at age nine, and by thirteen he won first place in a months-long open-mic competition at Dosey Doe in The Woodlands, outlasting more than eighty other performers.
His sound draws on influences such as Shane Smith and the Saints, Flatland Cavalry, and the Turnpike Troubadours, blending honest storytelling with a laid-back, modern country delivery. He released his debut single "Solid Ground" in the fall of 2024 and earned a Josie Music Awards nomination for Young Artist of the Year.
He continues to write new material and perform across Texas venues, including shows around his home base in Cypress.
