Open since 1997, the Panthers are a long-established Cy-Fair ISD program that has sent multiple players to the college and pro ranks.
2026–28 alignment (Region III, with Bridgeland, Cypress Park, Cypress Ranch + Fulshear/Foster/George Ranch/Waller).
Four-star cornerback and University of Houston commit — 6-foot-1 with the length and verified track speed (he hurdles and jumps for the Panthers) to close a passing window in a hurry. Nine games as a junior in 2025 produced 16 tackles, six passes defended, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt. Rated among the top 20 corners nationally in the 2027 class, he stayed home over Vanderbilt, Kentucky and TCU.
Cypress Springs finished 5-4 in 2025. Its football alumni include wide receiver Taye Barber (TCU) and safety Leon O'Neal Jr. (Texas A&M).
